Increase Readership And Revenue: The Hubpages 60 Day Challenge

Everyone needs a little R&R - including Hubbers! Readership and Revenue are two elements that most Hubbers desire, and with good reason. The Hubpages 60 Day Challenge is an excellent vehicle for experiencing levels of success with online writing. I am truly grateful to sunforged for his initiative of evolving the already great 30 Day Hubpages Challenge into the more intense, aggressive and tenacious 60 Day Challenge. The basic structure of the Challenge is:

1. The First 30 Days - publish 30 hubs evenly across 6 - 10 topics.
   
2. The Second 30 Days - aggressively promote the 30 hubs.

My motivation for completing this 60 Day Hubpages Challenge is fueled by my desire to establish an online presence as a writer with a worthy following and a sustainable business model.

1. Increase Readership: This translates into me having a greater following here on Hubpages and more RSS subscribers via email or a reader. (update: Upon revisiting this goal, I prefer to allow this to happen naturally and to focus my efforts on goal #2. A few loyal readers/subscribers will suffice. Most earnings come from absolute unique visitors from my stats, and that fact is confirmed by bloggers. Thanks Marisa Wright!)
   
2. Increase Revenue: Currently my google adsense earning from my hubs is less than $10 per month. While I am not sure how to forecast in a mathematical sense how my earnings will increase based on various variables, I desire to increase my earnings to $50 per month. As for my Amazon Associates commissions, I am seeking to earn $10 per month as currently I am earning a whopping $ZeRo! (update: This is where the bulk of my force will be in.)
   
3. Increase web traffic: Currently, the number of visitors to my hubpages are 20 per day. I aspire for this to increase to 200 per day.
   
4. Learn SEO Strategies: I aspire to learn better backlinking, keywording and other elements to increase my hubpages presence online.
5. Improve Writing: I am certainly not an expert writer, and even If I was I would still want to improve my expression through words. Improved grammar & organization, deeper insight, pooling of more references and even better humor.
6. Learn To Promote Hubs: I understand that writing hubs is one thing, and promoting them is another. I lack in the marketing of my hubs, and seek to change that.
7. Encourage Hubbers: I know how important words of encouragement and advice are to me, and I seek to do the same for every teammate.
